Personal development

We have an induction centre where every new joiner goes through a residential induction programme bespoke to their individual role before they set foot in their workplace.

This ensures that each new employee understands our business philosophy and receives the right training prior to starting in their new role.

  • Investing in our people’s development is important to us. In the past 12 months we:
  • Delivered 4,439 internal training courses through our Training Academy (excluding e-learning)
  • Have 96 of our depot managers undertaking the HAE Leadership course
  • Have 48 ops managers undertaking the LEAN efficiency course
  • Have 45 employees qualify for the Business Administration NVQ

Each year we recognize the top talent within the business at our Excellence Awards, and our reward and recognition programme has been overhauled to be industry leading.
